Exterior/Interior Design

Smooth, rounded curves adorn the CX-90 PHEV's overall exterior with occasional sharp line accents and body sculpts. Front ends boast large parallelogram-shaped mesh grilles framed with polished chrome and bordered by similarly shaped headlight arrays. Chrome also frames windows while embellishing the lower body on all sides. An aerodynamic profile ends in a rooftop spoiler and aids in fuel efficiency. Wrap-around light fixtures grace the rear.

The upscale CX-90 PHEV interiors comfortably accommodate seven or eight passengers, depending on the configuration chosen. The models have 14.9 cubic feet of cargo room in the rear. But, fold the third- and second-row seats to 40 or 74.2 cubic feet of storage. Opulent luxury begins with the Preferred models. Leather upholsters the interior, which has heated and power-adjustable front seats. Leather also covers the steering wheel and shifting knob. Top-level Premium Plus models have upgraded leather interiors. They also add ventilation ability to the front seats. Second-row and steering wheels gain heating ability.
