Steps to Take About One to Two Months Prior
Whether switching your leased model to select another vehicle or just returning it in general, there are a few steps you should take to wrap up things with your Mazda lease beforehand. One of the most important things to do is to schedule a complimentary inspection at Woodhouse Place Mazda about a month or two before the end date of your lease for a wear and tear inspection report. The results may help give you a better idea of what you decide to do with your vehicle when the time comes. Also, don’t forget to check the latest Mazda inventory to see what’s new and schedule your lease return appointment in advance!
What to Do on Delivery Day
When the day comes to turn in your vehicle, there are a few things you don’t want to forget to do. Besides canceling any electronic subscriptions that may be connected to your car, paying the final bill, and removing all your personal belongings, be sure to take the following items to your appointment at our Omaha location:
- All sets of keys
- Spare tire and toolkit
- Owner’s manual
- License plate(s)
- Any original equipment or items that came with the vehicle
During your appointment, be sure to take a copy of the signed odometer statement for your records. Also, if you didn't get a chance to get your vehicle inspected prior, it will be done afterward.
